How to Determine Chemical Compatibility
Below are four steps to help you to determine if a product is compatible with FlowGuard Gold, BlazeMaster and Corzan CPVC.
- After reviewing the respective CPVC design and installation manual, review the system compatible product listing for your region (continent). These products have been tested by a third party, are monitored on an ongoing basis to ensure compatibility, and have been determined to be compatible with FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster® and Corzan® CPVC. If the product in question is not found, go to step two.
- Review the unacceptable products listing for the product in question. This list contains products that have been determined to be incompatible with FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster® and Corzan® CPVC. If the product in question is still not found, go to step three.
- Review other chemical compatibility concerns. This site will provide information about the chemical compatibility of CPVC with various materials. If the product in question is still not found, go to step four.
- Contact the manufacturer of the product to determine chemical compatibility with FlowGuard Gold®, BlazeMaster® and Corzan® CPVC.
